Our Story
Vida Sana was founded in 2019 by Angelique Velazquez with a clear intention: to create a Pilates studio rooted in the classical method, where consistency, structure, and skilled instruction lead to lasting results.
At Vida Sana, Pilates is approached as a practice, not a trend. Our work emphasizes strength, control, mobility, and alignment through a thoughtful progression of exercises across the full Pilates system.
Private lessons and small-group classes provide individualized attention while maintaining the integrity of the method.
We believe that meaningful change happens through repetition, precision, and commitment over time. Rather than quick fixes, we offer a sustainable approach to movement that supports your body through every stage of life.
Our teachers are experienced, attentive, and deeply grounded in classical Pilates. Each session is designed to help you move with greater awareness and stamina and to develop confidence in your body.
Vida Sana is a space for those who value quality, consistency, and long-term wellbeing. This is where practice becomes part of your life, not something you squeeze in.

OUR NORTH STARS
At the heart & soul of it all, we’re committed to…
Connection
Connection is at the core of the Pilates practice. Through movement, you build strength and awareness in your body. Practicing alongside others who value consistency creates shared focus and accountability. Individual progress and collective experience coexist in the studio.
Mind-Body Connection
We live in a world that often pulls attention outward. Pilates draws awareness back into the body through movement, breath, and concentration. This practice supports focus, presence, and a balanced nervous system both in and out of the studio.
Strength and Mobility
Pilates builds strength that supports how you move in everyday life. Pilates improves joint mobility, core stability, and overall resilience. This helps you feel capable and steady. Whether lifting, bending, twisting, or standing tall, this work enables you to move with confidence over time.
